Our Guilds study, practice, and teach 19th century crafts and trades.
Throughout the year, they sponsor workshops, meetings and field trips.
Guild members support the educational mission of the Historical Society
by demonstrating their skills at public events.
Take a tour of our Farmstead and experience life in the 1800's.
Educational and informal tours are available.
The Society also offers a variety of workshops offered by our Folk Art
Series and Frontier Wisdom Skills Programs. Learn how to weave a
Pine Needle Basket, take in a free concert at the farmstead or learn how
to make a 1750's Leather Possible Bag or Flintknapp a knife or arrow
point. |
