| ABOUT US |
Volunteers at the Newark Valley Historical Society have the opprtunity
to learn about the past in a living history setting, study 19th century
skills, work with groups of children and adults, and make new friends.
Behind the scenes activities include office support, care of
collections, and committee work. Our volunteer staff operates year
round. Volunteer Opportunities include ~Guiding at the Farmstead for school and community groups ~Guiding at the Farmstead on summer weekends ~Working at festivals ~Office Support ~Assisting with the cataloging and care of collections ~Tending our heritage vegetable and herb gardens ~Routine maintenance of buildings and grounds ~Assisting at special events If you are interested in volunteering for anything listed here, or if you have other skills you believe could be of use to the NVHS, please Contact Us or visit our Guilds page. |
